Hello lovely people,
I’m still in Italy and I hope this post will get off the ground, as I have never been able to blog from my iPad. Fingers crossed. I cannot scroll up and down so I am doing things ‘blind’ and hope for the best.
This is the view from our bedroom here in Guardiagrele in The Abruzzi. I’m visiting my son and his family. I used to work and live here and it’s great to meet old friends again.
We have been very unfortunate with the weather. After that first nice day, it has rained almost non-stop. The bbq planned for Saturday night had to be indoors. Here is my son cooking ‘arrosticini ‘, lambs meat on sticks, on an electric gadget in the kitchen.
Grandson being a typical 4 yr old.
He must have bought a few hundred of these little sticks.
And I must say they were lovely.
Now I must add a photo with a drink in it so I can join Elizabeth and Bleubeard’s T-party.
This is the tiramisu that my daughter in law ‘s sister made on her birthday.
This is some of the art sold in the village, which is famous for it’s copper smiths.
That’s it from me today. I’ll try and do another blog on Friday.
Happy T Day everyone!
Greetings from wet Italy,
Lisca

Oh what a lovely looking town! That tiramisu has my mouth watering now as I haven't even had breakfast yet. So nice you can spend time with your family and friends. Seems there has been like weather around much of the world this past week.My internet was down yesterday because of heavy storms and I believe Elizabeth is without power still... enjoy your holiday, and happy T day!
What a view! And the artwork would be hard to resist :)
I'm going to see how hard tiramisu is to make. My mouth is watering, too lol Happy T Tuesday!
Stopped by to let you know the T Tuesday post is now live. As soon as I notify everyone and make a pot of much needed coffee, I will be back by to share a drink with you. Hope to see you at TSFT.
What a fun post, Lisca. I'm glad you're having a good visit except for the weather. The lamb looks lovely. Tiramisu is my very favorite dessert - YUM!

I'm back. Have consumed mass quantities of coffee and am now ready to face the rest of the day.
I've never had lamb, so these looked different to say the least. The tiramisu, on the other hand looked PERFECT and I now want some. Lots of drinks at that party, too.
WOW, copper. What more could I ask for, right? Those statues/metal works were fabulous. LOVE copper!
Thanks for sharing all those drinks at your DIL's b'day party and the lamb your son made. Hope the weather improves soon in your area. It finally quit raining here, but another round is on the way.
You have a wonderful view from the window, the area you son lives in looks beautiful. Its sounds like you are having a lovely visit with the family and the food does look delicious.
The art work looks fantastic, there must be hours of work in those pieces.
Happy T day wishes Lisca.

hi Lisca, Sorry I didn't get to visit last week. I wasn't really expecting to see you on your blog. I hope you have enjoyed your holiday despite the weather. It is always good to visit family.
