WOYWW 364 - 7th Anniversary!

Hi folks! Happy 7th WOYWW Anniversary!

Seven years is a long time. I've only been joining in since 2014.
Julia, who has been hosting this desk peeping fest for 7 years, is now having a sabbatical and so lots of best wishes and good vibes are going her way.

Thank you LLJ for helping out so that we can continue to satisfy our curiosity and see what other people have on their desks. This is the link if you'd like to join us.

This is my desk:
I'm in the process of making the envelopes to send the ATCs in, but I don't want to give too much away.

I'm very excited about the ATC swap that is happening today. It will be the first time I participate and I have 11 Post-It notes with an address on it stuck on the wall in front of me. I'm ready to roll! (All I need to remember is the asterix behind my name when I link up!)

We've been to a wedding last Saturday (our first Spanish wedding). If you are interested you can read all about it in yesterday's blogpost. I'm keeping this one short for a change.

Happy Wednesday, Happy WOYWW anniversary,
Lisca

I wish I was doing ATCs now - maybe next year. I like that - Only dull people send dull envelopes - afraid that's me then :( Happy WOYWW birthday x Jackie #31

Your desk looks busy and fun. Can't wait to swap ATCs! I looked at your Spanish wedding post. It looks like a lot of fun was had by all!

I wasn't brave enough to go down (or up) the sand dune. I had surgery on my ankle a couple of years ago and it's still a bit iffy on uneven surfaces. We did hike/walk through a path in the dunes and that was enough!

Happy WOYWW

I've just read Angela's post above - I dedicated this day to WOYWW but it's been nothing but interruptions and IT messes all day. Still, no point getting cross, I'll get there eventually! I did get your address, I think we just crossed somewhere! ATC in the post tomorrow - nice messy desk by the way, Happy Anniversary, Cindy #48 xx

Happy WOYWW7! I have just looked at your previous post about the wedding - how fascinating and what a beautiful bride. I bet your husbands kilt was a talking point - there is definitely something irresistible about a man in a kilt!
I hope you have a great week,

Oh and orange crop-a-dile, didn't know they came in that colour too, I have a pink one! Talking of colours, the red strings on a harp are the "C"s and the black/blue ones are the "F"s the rest follow on the A to G scale as usual. Sharps and flats are determined by the levers on my big harp or pedals on the orchestral harps. Thanks for visiting me and Happy WOYWW 7th Anniversary BJ#20

Thank you, Lisca! It worked! Because of your directions on my Blog, I was able to get the Anniversary button on my sidebar! :) I had to go look, my Crop-a-dile is pink. LOL So thanks again for visiting me and for your directions. #57

Lisca... What a wonderful day this is! I have been anticipating my participation in this event all week, and it's HERE! I was up at 6:00am to snap a photo and get my post done and I was STILL #58, the price I pay for living in the most Westernly province in Canada, but I am sooooo Glad you have me on your ATC list. I e-mailed you my contact info through your blog contact form, as you requested and I already have yours ready to goooo... Happy WOYWW Anniversary (hugs) Scrapbook Lynne Mizera WOYWW#58

Well done with the ATC swap and the envelopes, Lisca. I'm afraid I'm not up to joining in, yet again, this year. I've only just got myself back in the studio and seem to have so little time to spend in there, with a host of things clamouring to be done and I couldn't cope with such a big extra commitment.

I love the idea of your hubby having to have a freezer meal tonight lol!! Sometimes they have to suffer for our art, don't they!

Thank you for your lovely comment and your kind words and anniversary wishes - I am indeed feeling much better these days and everyone is saying how well I look! So glad you like my boxes, too. I really enjoyed painting them.

Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi #48

I would have been by sooner, but not long after I was finally able to link up, my electricity went out TWICE due to hail and thunderstorms that knocked the power out.

I wish I'd had time to make a few ATCs, but time didn't allow it this year. I am in awe that you have more stamps on your desk than I think I own!

Thanks for already visiting me and happy 7th Anniversary from # 5.

A belated Happy 7th Anniversary to you Lisca. Thanks for visiting. How did your hubby enjoy his freezer meal?! I'm going to read about the wedding now. Fingers crossed for the weather at the one we're going to. There isn't much of a plan B!

Off to read about the wedding in a minute or two. Glad the weather has changed for you over there as one expects Spain to have nothing but wall to wall sunshine.

A Spanish wedding sounds fun. You're the second person I've read about making ATC envelopes. These are my first ATCs ever and I didn't realize envelopes were a thing too. My ATC will go out tomorrow morning to you, but in a regular envelope. Happy belated WOYWW Anniversary! Hope you have a great and crafty week. LisaDV #44

Don't worry, I don't think it was the done thing. I think I set a trend. Because it is the first time I make ATCs, I thought that even though my ATCs might not be anything special, I would make an effort to decorate the envelope. I gave it away by having them in my photo on the blogpost.
Thanks for visiting,
Lisca

Hello Lisca, I'm sorry I haven’t managed to comment earlier, once again life got in the way! However, I have promised myself to get round all the desks this week to celebrate our 7 years of WOYWW friendship - so here I am. I'm so impressed that you are making the envelopes for your ATCs ... I'm not sure I have the patience. I enjoyed the wedding post - beautiful photos, especially the one of the bride's veil in all its glory. Enjoyed too the funny in your Friday post - I like the clean version too :) Have a great weekend, Elizabeth x #66
