Hello lovely peeps,
I'm joining you again with my 'workdesk' this week. I'm on holiday in Lisbon, Portugal, but this is what I'm doing at the mo:
I used to knit socks the traditional way, with 4 or 5 needles, but that was so fiddly. Then I found this new way on the Internet. The heel is called a 'fish lips kiss heel' and it is so easy I can do the heel while watching tv. I paid only a couple of $ for the pattern years ago and I'm so glad I did it. I have been knitting socks like this for years. (And no, she is not paying me. I'm just very happy I have found a method of knitting socks that suits me.)
The yarn is Pandoro and I can't remember if I bought it in the Netherlands or online. It is fine sock wool 100gr, 75% wool and 25% Polyamide. The colour changes in the yarn create the stripy pattern.
