This is 'Happy Friday to you' in Spanish!
I hope you are all well and have plenty to smile about. I'm going to link up with Annie at A Stitch In Time for Friday Smiles. Please join us with all things positive.
My mailbox was happy this week (and so was I) as many postcards were delivered. This one was rather special. It came from Serbia, the first card I have received from that country.
It used to be part of former Yugoslavia and the capital Belgrado (as I know it) is now Beograd. I traveled through that country in 1971 when we did a road trip to the middle East. A long time ago.
This is the stamp:
These toys remind me of the Fisher-Price toys my son used to play with (He is 40).
The weather here is very hot and we are sort of hibernating and not doing much. It's too hot to do anything. I have done some crafting for a change and have been making ATCs. I can't show you them yet as they are for the T For Tuesday Anniversary Exchange this coming Tuesday.
But i do have a couple of funnies:
Another teacher joke (and I'm not a teacher, but I thought it was funny). As is the next one:
This made me smile too. If I had small children I would keep them tethered for sure!I hope you have all had loads to smile about. I am looking forward to reading all about it.
Have a good week,
Happy Friday,
Blessings,
Lisca

I had a friend I worked with who was from Yugoslavia, so that brought back wonderful memories of her describing her homeland.
Both of the jokes were wonderful, and I would like to see that espresso and kitten sign in a few of the places I visit. Both made me laugh, and I really needed that right now.
Hope your Friday is super and your weekend is joyous.
It sounds like there are several of us needing smiles this week and I have to say yours really had me chuckling so thank you so much my friend.
Hope you have a great week.
Hugs,
Annie x
A lovely post as always - hope you have a good weekend
Happy smiles day, Lisca, I think the stamp is my favourite of what you shared. I'm blown away that it's a stamp.
Thanks for sharing,

Your funnies mad me laugh a lot today, being I am a teacher. The heat is here too, ugh. Running the AC inside and staying put. Cool post card. Sounds like you've had some interesting travels. Hugs-Erika
Oh gosh Lisca....I love the unattended children joke - got a great loud laugh from me and the teacher joke was a surprise. Your postcard exchange is a great idea and what wonderful cards you receive. Have a wonderful weekend, cheers Robyn
Brilliant funnies today. There were some children I would have loved to tether when I was teaching Lol! Have a great weekend, Angela x
I had to look the word HOT up in the dictionary. It means turn the central heating on, wear a vest as the sun has not got his hat on in Lancashire yet haha.
Lynn xx
Hi Lisca. You sound a bit like me. We are hibernating too, at least we are when there is nothing going on. getting up early to walk the dogs before it is too hot, means I need my after-lunch siesta. It is a good time to catch up on the crafting though.
That's an intersting postcard you showed this week. It must make your postie wonder, when you get so much post from around the world. Kate x
Hi Lisca, Love the cartoon and the board outside the cafe:)
