WOYWW 367 - drawing lessons and jigsaws

Good morning deskers!,

How are you all? Are you all ready to show your desks? We're linking up with Lunch Lady Jane at LLJ's Fabric Frenzy for a snooping fest, while chief desker Julia recuperates from her op.

Want to see what's on my desk? No craft but something my mum brought from Holland for me:
Flow is a Dutch magazine and this is a special edition to learn to draw.
I can't wait to start drawing! But my mum is staying with us for a week plus my cousin so I am spending some quality time with my mummy. She celebrated her 92nd last week! (photos on yesterday's blog).
If the first photo was an early lesson, this is one of the last lessons.

She (my mum) also brought me a jigsaw of a Dutch illustrator called Anton Pieck.
Apologies for the bad photo. I love doing jigsaws and usually have one on the go all through the winter.

That's it from me, short and sweet (I hope).
It's cherry time here and I am munching through a mountain of cherries. I must stop or I'll be ill later on!

Happy WOYWW,
Lisca

Nice things on your desk this week. Looks like you'll be playing a bit. Sounds like fun! And I would love to know how you made your cherry filling, when you get the chance. Hugs-Erika

Wishing your Mum a belated Happy Birthday. She looks happy & content.
Thanks for the visits, life has been extra busy here and I've posted and gone off so many times lately. Fun little items. Drawing and puzzles, kind of a way to relax. Miss my cherry tree, I too like them. Have a great week. Always enjoy your posts.

The magazine looks very interesting and the 'how to draw' articles will be useful I'm sure - it is something I don't do enough of and am very rusty and in need of some practice! I love the Anton Pieck jigsaw puzzles - I'll look out for his name, as I really like his style of drawings. Hope you have a wonderful time with your mum and family,

I bought a copy of Flow magazine once on Amazon, but it was in German. I love it, it's got some cool stuff in it! I think I will rip it into pieces and use it as collage paper. I like that it's not all glossy - at least most of it isn't. Happy drawing! zsuzsa #36

Happy Belated 92nd Birthday to your Mum! Although I know how to draw, I would love a copy of that Dutch magazine, because I collect rare and unusual art books. (Dutch would be rare in my part of the world. LOL!) I'm looking forward to seeing your drawings in weeks to come. Blessings to you and your family, my friend!
