WOYWW. (an untidy desk)

Hello again everybody! Thank you all so much for all your kind comments on my first ever WOYWW last week! What a friendly bunch you all are!
Thank you for looking over my shoulder again this week. Oh what an untidy desk I have!

I did a blog last week about 'Almonds' and I now want to do a scrapbook page with the photos, so I've printed them out. I have a nice idea for a double page layout. (Watch this space)
Some more goodies that I bought at Lidls (European supermarket): Some fineliner markerpens, a stamp set and some primary colour marker pens that have tiny stamps on one end (a heart, lips, thumbs up, a star etc). Just some fun things.
That tag on a string I must really tidy away! It must not get lost as it is my DH's dad's military tag. He died recently at the age of 98 and I plan to use the tag on a scrapbook page (I love heritage stuff).

I've been playing with my new Spellbinder die that makes little roses. Really cute. The Sissix filmstrip is something I bought on Ebay a while ago and forgot about it. I had fallen behind a shelf and I only found it yesterday...

The photos are from 1992 (my wedding), again they are there in preparation of making a page and I've got as far as collecting pretty papers for it. So nothing completed yet I can show you. And we're going to be away the rest of the week so I won't get much done this week.

Never mind. Thanks for looking and I shall look forward to  having a peep at your desks too.

Bye for now and God bless.

Lisca

  2. Wow, youj've got a lot in the pipeline! I love your gorgeous little roses - I've often seen the die for sale but wondered how fiddly the flowers are to make - do you glue them together as your roll them up, or use tape? Hope you have a great week, Diana #42

    1. Thank you for snooping and commenting. The little roses on my desk aren't glued at all. I've just rolled them up very tightly and then loosened them again a bit. The last little bit of the 'roll' is wider than the rest and I fold that under the flower and I will eventually glue it with hot glue.

  3. Your post on almonds was very interesting. I can't imagine having such a large supply but it looks like you know exactly how to use them so nothing is wasted. Lovely papers for your wedding LO.

  7. Glad you've come back for more! That desk looks like a fun place to work and play. I love Lidl, too - great bargains (when they have them) and usually good quality. I've just been using Cath Kidston type sticky back plastic from there, and it works a dream. Happy WOYWW, Chris # 34

  17. Welcome to WOYWW Lisca!!! And congratulations for coming back for week #2! Hopefully, we're not all too crazy for you! Ha ha! There's a lot of sweet bloggers that keep coming back week after week! I can't wait to see your Almonds layout! It should be lots of fun! And I hope you have a blast with those Spellbinders dies!! They both look awesome!

Thank you so much for coming by my blog and for your super sweet comments! I'm all about being frugal too and trying to use and reuse what I already have. I'm disabled and don't have a lot of money to put into scrap things, so I find other ways to get them...sales, contests, etc. I hope you have fun making your own page kits. It's really helped me to see how much stuff I have and need to use! You get enough after a while that you tend to forget some of the older stuff you have, so making the kits really helps me with that! I can't wait to see what you make!

Okay, I'm off to go snoop around your blog now!!

    Happy (late) WOYWW

  18. thanks for popping over to my place Lisca and for your kind comment.... I have tasted almonds fresh form a tree and even picked walnuts too of my schoolfriend's tree many years ago, and you simply cant compare them to shop bought ones. Well done on the retrieval ..
