Hope you all had a good week. My husband and I have been away for a few days in our campervan. We stayed local as we live in such a beautiful area. The weather here is still quite warm, but below 30 degrees C which means we can go for walks.
There is so much to see. We found these little crocus like flowers growing straight from the ground! No stem!. I have no idea what they are, but they're very pretty.
On this walk I'd forgotten my hat and it was very hot that day. So I found a scarf to wear. Here I'm looking at these red berries in the tree.
Every day after our walk we would be tired, hot and thirsty. We would treat ourselves to a cold glass of lager.
Of course we have beers in our fridge in the campervan but the campsite restaurant keeps the beer glasses in the freezer and they also have wifi which makes drinking out extra attractive.
This is where I would do my blogging. See those two little dishes on the table? Those are the tapas which (in our province of Granada they are free) you get with every drink you order. This is 'salmorejo', a sort of gazpacho (cold soup) with 'bits' in it.
Now, I'd better show you my postcard of today before I get too carried away:
I got this from Holland (of course with a clog). He's quite a hunk. On the back of the card is the info about said hunk: he is Rick Rio from Brazil. The photographer is Lutz van Dijk.
Adrie from Wedervoort sent me this card and she also put some gorgeous stamps on it.
The one on the left coal mines in the south of the netherlands (no longer working).
The middle one is about Constantijn Huygens. Commemorating 300 years since his death in 1687.
Sir Constantijn Huygens, was a Dutch Golden Age poet and composer. He was secretary to two Princes of Orange: Frederick Henry and William II, and the father of the scientist Christiaan Huygens. (Wikipedia)
That's it for today. A rather long spiel, so if you made it until here: well done and thank you for visiting.
I'll be here again tomorrow with WOYWW.
Blessings,
Lisca

Lovely post today Lisca, looks really beautiful where you are. Like the look of the Gazpacho, too! Good idea putting the beer glasses into the fridge, too, never thought of that. Nice stamps on the postcard, especially, of course, the coffee. Happy T Day and have a good week, hugs, Valerie
What a happy post ! Love all this Lisa!

Happy T-Day!
You sure live in a bonny place for walking; how fascinating those wee flowers are :D
The tapas sounds very tasty; how cool that they are free too! :D
The dutch hunk is perfect for brightening the dismal day here in NE Scotland, lol. Happy T day :D
Lucky YOU to have temps below 30 C. It's above 32 C here and will be most of the week. I keep saying this is more like July than September.
Free is always good, so I enjoyed the beer and tapas. In fact, gazpacho is one of my favorite summertime soups, since it uses so many ingredients I used to grow in my garden.
What a fun post card and those stamps are out of this world. I also really like to hear that the Dutch like their coffee. So do I!
Thanks for sharing your walk, your cute flower, your beer in the campsite restaurant, your gazpacho, and your postcard with us for T this Tuesday. Really a fun post.
I looked and looked and eventually I did manage to see the clog ;-)
Hugs,
Annie x
Hello and Happy T Day! How fun to be out camping and enjoying nature. How nice to enjoy a nice cold beverage and some yummy food especially when free. Love seeing your postcards and that last one is so perfect for T Day!!
Thanks for sharing and enjoy your week.
Your area is beautiful! It must be so enjoyable to go exploring :) I'm always amazed at how many different types of pictures can be found on stamps. Happy T Tuesday!
Hi Lisca, I can see why you stay local with the lovely scenery on your doorstep and cold beer served with soup on a hot summer's day. Postcard is cute too! LOL
Happy T-day Lisca!!!
Nothing like an ice cold beer after a walk on a hot day!
Cute photo of you on your PC......
The post card was fun to see, with him holding the Clog, and very interesting stamps on the back.
stamps and postcards~ a winning combination! doesn't hurt to have hunky physique featured either ;) your hiking sounds wonderful, and so fun to see your smiling face! ♥ happy T day!
What a lovely place to visit! Love those stamps…oh and the clog..that is what I was supposed to look at was it?? Chrisx
I have never had stamps with cups on it, maybe one day,. Here in Australia if you go to a pub to drink beer they give you free nuts which are so salty so you want to drink more, very clever marketing hahaha
We used to get big frosted mugs of root beer at the A&W drive-in when we were kids. It was a huge treat for the family to go when it was really hot and sticky--and it was soooo good and cold! Lovely stamps--and the guys torso isn't bad, either--LOL! Happy T-Day! :)
