A Postcard a Day 4 September 2015 Friday Smiles: actress, pussies and Labradorables

Good Morning! And hello Friday Smilers!

Have you all had a good week? I have had a lovely week. We went away in our campervan(RV) for two nights to the same camping we went to recently. We liked it so much we went back. All we did was relax. We read, puzzled, chatted, had nice meals, did Zentangles, played Rummicub, had a drink, collected pine cones, talked to the couple in the next van and generally had a good time.

Look at the size of the pine cones! (We collect them to light the fire with).
Now for my smiley postcard... no, the lady in question is certainly not smiling. But just looking at that sour face makes me smile:
Of course it's Margaret Rutherford! She was such an amazing actress! I like her as Miss Marple. Do any of you remember her? Or is it just me being old?

The card was sent to me recently by Birgit from Germany through Postcrossing. She must have seen in my profile that I love Black and white cards... Thank you Birgit.

If that didn't make you smile then these cuties might. I call them 'Labradorable':

I'll leave you with some words of wisdom:

That's it from me this Friday.

Have a good weekend all of you,

Blessings,

Lisca

Hi Lisca....I'm just laughing heaps at the cat in the carrybox.. we have one for ours but I'm sure they'd have figured out the problem much quicker than that cat. Oh I do love going camping - not much chance of us taking our van out now I've turned it into my craft space..LOL. we have a tent too. it's just great to get away and relax. Happy Friday and enjoy your weekend Robyn

Hi Lisa. Love the photos! Yes I remember MR. Have just spent few days in a static tourer van :-) on a farm in Wales. My son and family there as well - so very busy time but loved it! My granddaughters were collecting pine cones for the campfire - how they would have loved those huge ones! Anne x

It sounds like as if you had a wonderful couple of days away Lisca. I remember Margaret Rutherford well. She was my favourite Miss Marple.

Those baby labs are adorable. Our neighbour got a puppy yesterday so I'm looking forward to lots of cuddles. Barbxx

I have never seen such big pine cones. The maximum I've come across is 10cm - yours are huge in comparison!
Some wise words on that last picture too
Happy Friday

Hubby happened to glance at my screen and knew it was Ms Rutherford ...scary as I did not know her name and I am only 2 years younger than Hubby!!
