WOYWW 280 My desk in our cave house

Oops. It’s Wednesday again! Desk hopping time!

Welcome to my desk in our cave house! My posts have been becoming longer and longer, so before Julia tells me off, I will just show you my desk. For those who are interested to know the progress of the building project and what nice things I have baked etc, just scroll down to the next blog and it will all be revealed....

So here is my desk. I’ve moved it to the other side of the room and have added two lamps and my comfy desk chair. My DH brought over another big box of craft supplies from the other house, so I’m a happy bunny. You can see my finished project (scrapbook page ‘Left and Right Brained’ from previous post) and I’m still playing with my dolly stamp. I’m using the Sizzix cutting pads to stamp with as I don’t have an acrylic block big enough. I really must stop playing and start making something. One of my girlfriends has a birthday this weekend, so my goal is to make her a card..... Next week you will see if I realized my goal....

Thank you everybody who has commented and who has shown an interest in what is happening here in Spain. I get really excited when I get comments.

Bye for now. God bless everybody.

Lisca

PS. If you have no idea what this desk hopping is all about, please have a look at Julie’s website http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.com.es/

Oh wow, the view through that arched window is going to be AMAZING!! What a brilliant place to construct a house, you must be pleased with the way it's all going :-)
And I'm so pleased that you're enjoying having your desk back...it's true, you can still craft with limited resources. In fact, it makes me think a little more about the project and that's no bad thing, huh?!

I've started with the other post and loved reading all about it - the build sounds fantastic ( me ex husband wanted to do a self build) I am sure it will be wonderful when it's done. Your desk looks pretty good too, hope you have a crafty week Helen 5

Hi Lisca, it must feel so much better to have your chair and the lamps in your crafting space. The layout, what I can see of it, looks lovely. Your house is going to be fabulous once finished ... the view from the arched window is going to be breathtaking! I have a giveaway on offer so do check out the sticky post at the top of my blog. Have a great week, Elizabeth x #53

Hi LIsa. Your house looks like it is going to be amazing when it is finished. Your desk looks great and inviting. I see you are a lace maker too. I would love to see some of your work. I was amazed to find two lace makers in US which amazed me. One kindly showed me some books so I could photograph them to look on the net later.
Thanks for visiting.

Love your desk these days, Lisca! I love al those handy little hooks too. I wonder if I've got room for those? Lol!! Looking at your post about the house building, it's all getting very exciting. That arch is awesome... Made me laugh though because our chief builder (renovating our nouse last year) and I had continual battles over arches because he doesn't like them, but I ended up winning, and have 2!! I used to sing "Underneath the Arches" just to wind him up lol!!

Thanks for your nice comment, and I'm so glad you like my various projects. I shall be blogging really soon about the felt poppies as they are now complete and looking pretty cool though I say so myself! Off to explore Lisa's blog to see if there's anything about felt.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Hi Lisca, me again! Thank you for pointing me in Lisa's direction - I've just popped over and left her a comment about her beautiful felt. Funny that we are both doing evening classes in it, isn't it!

I too use my cutting pads to stamp with, in fact I have one that has never seen the inside of my Vagabond machine! It is solely for stamping! I am late to visit as I had a self inflicted deadline to achieve...#19

Hi, Lisca, how fascinating and exotic that you are living in a cave house! That was sweet of your husband to bring you over some goodies. Your left brain/right brain layout is very interesting. I hope your health is good now. Thanks for visiting me! ~ Laura #63

Yes Laura, I'm absolutely fine now having had all my treatment. I've been 'clear' for three years now.

All my lace making stuff is in the other house. I'm still learning. When I have my new craft room and get all my stuff over, I'll show you what I've done so far.

Looks like the builders are really making progress! Your bread looks yummy, and I love
Your layout on the previous page - 'fuddle brained' could describe me at times :-)
Thanks for your visit, and I will be keeping my album, I don't often make things just for me, but this was a labour of love!

Hello Lisca - thank you for visiting my desk. Loving seeing the progress of your house and where you are currently crafting. Thanks for the tip about using sizzix plates to mount really large stamps on.
