Hello lovely girls,
How are you all today? Today is the day of the T-Party hosted by Elizabeth and Bluebeard. We all share a beverage, so lets kick off with mine:
Hubby's coffee is another story. When we were in Italy last year, hubby loved the espresso that my son makes. We went out to buy a bag of that same coffee that he uses.
Then he makes coffee in this tiny espresso machine (for one person).
I still haven't received many cards. There was one and I featured that in my Friday blog. So I will show you a card that I sent. The fellow that I sent this card to is and ex-army man in the German army. He is interested in military history and loves vintage postcards.
On this card you see a German military band marching on Guernsey, which was occupied by the Germans in 1940.
Remember I talked about St John's Wort? I have left it out in the sun and it has already turned red, and that oil can be used for burns and small wounds.
My kombucha was a great success with my hubby, and I love it too of course. I had varied results with the secondary fermentation. But the raspberry was definitely my favorite so far.
The irrigation system was working.
The water flows through canals and gets chanelled by opening and closing those little sluice gates.
We also spotted some grapes.
This is the road through the olives
I spotted an oleander shrub, that normally grows in the middle between the two carriage ways of the motorway.
We heard from a friend, that this guy sells some water tanks. We need some for our plot of land.
So we went to have a look and chose two. They are second hand and very dirty. But we have been given a special cleaning product to mix with water that will clean out the mess.
That is all the news from me today. I'm so tired (It's midnight on Monday night) that I nearly fell asleep while typing. Beddibyes as they say in our family. (Child talk for byebyes to bed)
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

Wow, that picture postcard of the Nazi army band marching in Guernsey is creepy. Did you read "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society"? A good book -- one of my book clubs read it.
All your agricultural images are very interesting.
be well... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
My hubby would LOVE that postcard- he is a fanatic on war history- esp. WWII. Me, not so much. The St John's wart looks great, and good to hear your Kombucha came out so well too! Beautiful photos of the fruits, flowers and nice to see the water is flowing. Happy T day!
I like seeing your area. It is very different from the lush forests of where I live. Glad your kombucha came out so well. It is an acquired taste, isn't it? The oleander is very pretty and those apricots are amazing. They wouldn't grow here. Hope you had a good night's sleep and have a wonderful T day. Hugs-Erika
You seem to have an abundance of fresh foods in your area. Love seeing your husband's espresso pot, I have a little electric one I haven't used in years. and also years ago I had a senseo for awhile-don't know if this style with the coffee pods is still available here in the usa or not. I thought those made more sense since they use those plastic cups. awesome with the Stjohn's wart Happy T hugs Kathy
Good to live where so much good food is grown locally. I have an electric espresso-maker, that's always my afternoon pick-me-up. The rest of the day I have a coffee machine that keeps me well supplied. Glad the kombucha and St John's Wort turned out well, great! Have a wonderful week, take care, hugs, Valerie
Hubby is a coffee-fan, too. Big machines, small ones... I´d go for your kombucha, looks yummy!
Beddibyes - what a cute word! Happy T-day and hugs!
It was lovely to see the photos of your area and the irrigation system that gets the water to the plants, and wow to see the apricot tree had me thinking I've not had a fresh one to eat as yet this year.
Happy T day wishes.
Stay safe.
Yvonne xx
Great postcard. The plants look like they are growing well. I like that irrigation system. Happy T-Day!
I have never seen coffee makers like either of yours. I can feel the need to spend some time googling ;) Apricots and grapes! Delightful sights :) Happy T Tuesday
I want to make kombucha again. Its been several years. I really like it and its so good for you!
Happy T day!
Great to have the coffee maker and all those fruits look so amazing! So nice to grow them locally, I bet they taste so much better than shop bought 😀. The irrigation system is fabulous too, very clever. Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x
I'm glad your kombucha turned out good :) The apricot tree is amazing and so are the grapes ~ Enjoy your week!
Coffee is always a good idea and I love both of your ways of making it! I loved seeing your walk pics! Oh My! That apricot tree looks so full of fruit! Good Luck cleaning out the tanks! Happy T Day! Chrisx
Hello, I am back at the tea party! Lovely photos from your walk. I especially love the one of the apricot tree. It would be so fun to have that near! I have never seen one. I am glad your drinks came out good. Happy T Day!
The Little Espresso machine reminds me of the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz. What a fun walk. When I was a kid a neighbor had a grape vine that grew over the fence in her yard. We weren't allowed to pick the grapes form her yard, but any growing over the fence were fair game. We used to enjoy eating them green! Take care and Happy T Day
I'm finally back online. Thanks for joining this week's T party. Next week we will use Inlinkz because you can remove your link and start over again if you make a mistake Be sure to use ONLY your name in the "caption" and not your blog post, please.
Enjoyed your walk and rereading what you wrote on Friday. That water tank will hopefully help, too. How sweet that you and your husband have different coffee makers. Makes for great conversation, too. Thanks for sharing your postcard and coffees with us for T this Tuesday, dear Lisca.
I'm glad your kombucha came out well this time. Apricots, Grape and olives - how lovely. We say beddy-bye in the states too.
Yes, I still have your address in Granada. No, I didn't use the new stencils on the steampunk page. They arriivd a few days later. But I'm using them a lot now!
Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen
