A Postcard a Day - Tuesday 29 November 2022- T for no postcard

 Hello lovely ladies,

No postcard today. I am chronically sleep deprived and can't keep my eyes open.

So I am only fleetingly joining the T-Party hosted by Elizabeth and Bleubeard.

Here is my qualifier:

I made a devilled cottage pie the other day.

Which I had with a glass of wine.

The other half went in the freezer for another day.

Here is the recipe:

My hubby continues to be very ill, and he is also confused which is making things that much more difficult. Daughter Tracey is flying in tonight. That is a bit of relief for me. She has come to help, she says.

That is it from me. I hope I feel better next week,
Happy T-Day all!
Hugs,
Lisca

  1. So sorry to hear about the hubby and you not getting any sleep. You need to take care of yourself also, so hopefully you'll be able to get a good night's sleep when Tracey arrives. I'll be thinking of you and sending prayers out to the universe. hugs-Erika

  2. I've been trying to get your blog to load since Firday. I am delighted it loaded today. Sorry to read that about Graham. I'm sure a visit from his daughter will be good for both of you.

I'll leave the cottage pie to you and toast your wine with my coffee. Thanks for sharing the update and the recipe with us for T this Tuesday, dear Lisca.

  6. I'm still having trouble getting your blog to load for me. I saw your comment about the camera you left on my blog post. That was a borrowed camera and my friend warned me the camera didn't take good close ups because it was so old. When I talked to Scott on the phone, he suggested I lean the camera against something and to take shots that weren't so close. DUH. Like I hadn't tried that. I then borrowed a different camera and got the better shots with Squiggles and my table.

  7. Lisca, I can only say what others said before me - take care of yourself as well. I'm glad that you're cooking for yourself, even though I think it probably is not uch fun right now. It's good that the daughter will come, I hope it will give you some rest, so that you don't always have to be so exhausted and get some sleep. I'm thinking of you.
